- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Black pepper, to taste
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- Water, as needed
Cookware Used:
- Saladmaster 11” Skillet or any Saladmaster cookware
- Saladmaster Food Processor (use Cone #2 for chopping)
Instructions:
- Preheat your Saladmaster cookware
- Set your 11” skillet over medium heat.
- Test for readiness by flicking a few drops of water into the pan—if they bounce and dance, it’s ready.
- Cook the ground turkey
- Add ground turkey to the preheated pan.
- Brown the meat, stirring occasionally to break it up.
- Prepare your vegetables using the Saladmaster Machine
- Use Cone #2 on the Saladmaster Food Processor to finely chop the garlic and white onion.
- Insert them through the smaller chute for finer pieces.
- Sauté aromatics
- Add the chopped garlic and onion to the browned turkey.
- Stir and cook for about 3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
- Combine pasta and sauce
- Stir in the elbow pasta and tomato basil sauce directly into the skillet.
- If the mixture is too thick or dry, gradually add water to reach a saucy consistency (usually about ½ to 1 cup).
- Add spices and bell pepper
- Use the Saladmaster machine to chop the red bell pepper, then add it to the pan.
- Season with black pepper and cayenne pepper to taste.
- Mix well and stir frequently.
- Simmer
- Cover and cook on low to medium heat for about 20 minutes, or until the pasta is fully cooked and tender.
- Finish with cheese
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Cover and let cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese melts beautifully over the pasta.
To Serve:
- Plate warm and enjoy with a fresh side salad.
- Serve with love and gratitude!
Scripture Inspiration:
Psalm 1
King James Version
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
May your cooking and fellowship be blessed!
